In regards to this live I just got to get it a buck with everyone . Everything being so damn expensive in the states makes the cost of anything down there nothing. Life to me is all about memories and moments when I go to the grocery store and spend $400 that’s not a moment it’s BS. But coming down there and meeting a Big Mac lol and if a person spends whatever they are paying for a memory and moment. Nobody has the same exact budget and what’s a lot to you may not being a lot to someone else plus some people roll to a country with a spending budget and it is what it is …just saying

I think any expat that lives in Sousa and can speak a little Spanish can get a hamburger for 5 dollars but not a weekend warrior he is paying that 100 for a hamburger those chicas not lowering no price for them. Especially after driving after catching a bus from San Domingo or Santiago. Expats know where all the discounts are for everything that a weekend warrior doesn't.

I get your McDonalds reference, but its different because if Chicks in Sosua start getting 5000 Pesos this Halloween, what you think the price gone go up to for 2025 when its 3000-4000 now. McDonalds business model wouldn’t be sustainable charging $100 for a Big Mac, but Women’s standards are conditioned by Men’s spending and once they get 5000 Pesos, they ain’t going back to $3500. They’ll have a Chica Meeting and now the going rate will be 5000 Pesos.
